Sex Therapy
Autonomy Therapy is not only able to offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the City centre of Norwich, Norfolk, NR2, but also offers Sex Therapy.
Sexual Difficulties are common amongst both men and women and can occur for a number of reasons, such as significant life stressors either from the past or in the present.
Common problems for women include Vaginismus where penetration is not possible without significant discomfort; lack of ability to reach a vaginal or clitoral orgasm or a lack of ability to become aroused. Common problems for men include Erectile Dysfunction and Premature Ejaculation. These common problems for men and women usually involve a psychological problem or stressor that can be alleviated through the therapeutic process.
Difficulties can present themselves in a number of different ways. For example, it may well be that the behaviour of one partner is or has become inappropriate or that the balance in the relationship is not one of equality, but leans more in favour of the wishes of the one partner in detriment to the other. The ability to communicate with each other might be frozen and any attempts at communicating might result in an argument or sulking. These difficulties can have an impact on others in the family such as parents, siblings and children.
Other sexual problems are also common. For example, having a strong desire to have sex constantly and partaking in every avenue that will allow this to occur, such that it interferes with your happiness or your partner’s happiness. The opposite might also cause difficulties, such as having no desire to have sex at all.
Autonomy Therapy is able to offer therapy to men and women to alleviate all of these problems and sexual difficulties in Central London, EC1 and W11.
